After going wicketless against England, Jason Holder made optimum use of the conditions at the Wankhede Stadium and guided the West Indies to the Super Eights of the T20 World Cup with a four-wicket haul against Nepal.
Holder started off with a wicket off his first ball and ended his spell with another off the last ball of the innings. In between, he picked up two more wickets but also conceded 16 runs in the penultimate over.
“Yeah, it was a bit up and down. But I will take it. Getting four wickets in a World Cup can be a bit special, and to be able to do it today was good,” Holder said.

In September last year, West Indies lost to Nepal 1-3 in a three-match T20I series, so before taking on the Associate team, there were apprehensions. “Nepal has obviously been a team that’s been very competitive, and they’ve beaten us in the recent past as well too. We knew we had to come up really hard in this game and make sure we started really well,” Holder said.
